Velo does not sell your data. Settings like favorites, hidden apps, and theme choices stay on your phone. Biometric unlocks never leave your device.
Your pinned favorites, renamed apps, hidden apps, app lock settings, theme, font, and gesture preferences are stored locally on your Android device.
When you type in the drawer, Velo searches apps and phone Settings on-device. If you choose web search, your query goes to Google / web search you select, just like a browser search.
If you turn on weather, your approximate location is used only to fetch weather. If you turn on Photo Frame with Google Photos, your chosen photos are shown on home only with your permission.
Velo asks only for what it needs to work as a launcher, such as app list access, and optional permissions you turn on like biometrics for app lock. You can deny optional permissions anytime in Android Settings.
Velo is a general utility app and not directed to children. If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
No. Velo does not sell personal data and does not run an advertising profile on you. App content and settings stay on your device unless a feature you enable needs the internet, like weather or web search.
App lock uses Android's built-in biometric and device PIN systems. Your biometric data is handled by Android on your device and is never sent to Velo.
Uninstalling Velo or clearing app storage in Android Settings > Apps > Velo > Storage removes local Velo preferences on that device.
